Street Works

If your job involves you working on the highway or street, it is likely that it will be necessary for you to carry a Street Works card detailing your qualifications in the area. Which card you carry is dependent on your job role and how many units you pass.

Course includes:

• Cable Location with SWQR card.
• Cable Location without SWQR card.
• Excavation in the Highway.
• Excavation, Backfilling and Reinstatement – Cold lay.
• Reinstatement – Hot and Cold Bituminous Material.
• Reinstatement of Modular Surface and Concrete Footways.
• Signing, Lighting and Guarding.
• New Roads and Street Works Full Course.

Qualification

From this you will gain a City and Guilds accreditation and a SWQR card covering the units that we offer.
